Max's Restaurant

.
.
The house that fried chicken built
Website: http://www.maxschicken.com

I'm not really a fan of fried chicken but when you say it's from Max's well it's another story.

I don't know why it tastes so different from other fried chickens I've tried but all I can say is if you're looking for the best fried chicken, then Max's Restaurant is the place.

Aside from their chicken, they also serve soups, pancit, bicol express, tofu and other more Filipino dishes. Average budget for a meal for two would be Php400.00 to Php700.00.

Las Paellas Cafe

We had a dinner at this restaurant's branch in SM North EDSA Annex.

We ordered Adobong Liempo and Frozen Brazo (see images below) which is already good enough for two persons. Adobong Liempo is served with rice topped with pork liempo while the Frozen Brazo is frozen merangue dessert layered with ice cream topped with caramel syrup.

Some of the service crew were not that attentive when we went there. We were given a seat but menu was not provided until we asked might be because they were very busy. Anyways, food is still good at Las Paellas.

Budget for 2 would be around Php300.00 to Php500.00.

Frozen Brazo - Php85.00

Adobong Liempo - Php180.00
